Tragic End in Dharmanagar: BJP Councillor's Mysterious Death

BJP councillor Rahul Kishore Roy of Dharmanagar Municipial Council, North Tripura, died by suicide following alleged threats after a bypoll victory. His wife accused a group of youths of threatening and humiliating him. An inquiry has been promised by the Chief Minister following the complaint.

In a disturbing incident from Dharmanagar, North Tripura, BJP councillor and Yuva Morcha mandal president Rahul Kishore Roy was found dead by suicide. The tragedy unfolded due to alleged threats and humiliation by a group of young individuals after the BJP secured a victory in the local bypoll.

Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed shock and promised an impartial probe following the accusations made by Roy's wife, Ananya Bhattacharjee. On Facebook, the CM conveyed his condolences and assured a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind this untimely demise.

Following the bypoll results, Ananya reported that a group of youths attacked their residence, issuing threats that gravely upset Roy. Despite lodging a complaint, the local police have yet to make any arrests, although an investigation is in process.
