The ruling BJP-led NDA has made a near-clean sweep across Assam's autonomous council areas, securing 20 of the 21 Assembly constituencies. This victory emphasizes the alliance's stronghold in the Sixth Schedule regions, aligned closely with Dispur's power center. Meanwhile, the opposition barely managed to clinch one seat, with a Congress candidate winning the Parbatjhora constituency under BTC.

The strategic alliance between BJP and Bodoland People's Front (BPF) resulted in an impressive victory across eight districts, notably reinforcing the collaboration between political leadership and the state government. The electoral results underscore a longstanding trend: political forces in these regions tend to harmonize with the ruling state dispensation to ensure effective regional governance.

Prior to the 2023 delimitation adjustments, the region under BTC comprised 12 segments. The BPF, after experiencing shifts in alliances, teamed up again with BJP ahead of the elections, with their cooperative strategy leading to victory in all but one seat. Similarly, KAAC and NCHAC witnessed BJP dominance, as regional parties failed to challenge their stronghold.
