Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took a critical stance against Mamata Banerjee following the Trinamool Congress's defeat in the West Bengal assembly elections. He employed a Hindi proverb to criticize Banerjee's decision to remain in office, describing it as obstinate despite the TMC's significant loss.
While Banerjee labeled the election result a conspiracy rather than a people's mandate, asserting that her fight was against the Election Commission and not the BJP, Yadav celebrated the BJP's triumph, which saw them securing 207 seats out of 294, ending the TMC's 15-year-long rule with only 80 seats.
In a separate interaction in Burhanpur, Yadav unveiled plans for an industrial conference to foster investment in the Nimar region and develop Sukhpuri as an industrial hub. He also announced the expansion of the State Traders Welfare Board to the district level and initiatives to promote banana and cotton cultivation in Burhanpur.
