Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to attend next month's celebrations marking the second anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha. The announcement came from Odisha's Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, during an event in Bhubaneswar.
Majhi, who met Modi in New Delhi earlier, has invited him to be part of this significant occasion. According to the Chief Minister, the Prime Minister's Office responded positively, although a precise date for the visit is yet to be confirmed. Potential dates under consideration include June 12, June 20, and September 17, which coincides with Modi's birthday.
The preparations for welcoming the Prime Minister have commenced as the government looks forward to the visit. Modi's participation holds special significance, as he had previously attended the ceremony when the BJP, led by Majhi, took power in Odisha, ending two decades of BJD rule.
