Trump says he wouldn't mind a long impeachment trial

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he would not mind a long impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate, telling reporters he wants to see the whistleblower whose complaint led Democrats to launch the impeachment inquiry.

Speaking to reporters at the White House after the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee approved two articles of impeachment against him, Trump decried the process as a "sham," saying Democrats were trivializing impeachment.
