Jammu Smart City Project: Six-Year Financial Overview and Complaint Resolution
Over Rs 800 crore have been invested in Jammu's smart city project over six years. Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reported to the Assembly that no major complaints have been encountered. However, minor issues were addressed promptly, involving digital door number installations and public transit operations.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah disclosed that over Rs 800 crore have been allocated to the Jammu smart city project over the past six years. Addressing the Assembly, he confirmed the successful completion of projects without major complaints.
The project, which has incurred expenditures of Rs 815.37 crore to date, involved administrative and operational expenses. Financial releases amounted to Rs 830.98 crore, with Rs 815.37 crore utilized effectively in various developmental projects.
Minor complaints concerning digital door number installations and public transportation have been swiftly resolved. Out of 700 complaints, the majority were addressed, reflecting the administration's commitment to improving urban infrastructure and community services.
