A fire broke out in a residential building in west Delhi's Mohan Garden on Diwali night, according to officials on Tuesday. The incident led to the evacuation of seven people from the four-storey building.
Authorities received a PCR call at 9.49 pm regarding the blaze, which affected the first and second floors. The Delhi Fire Services deployed six fire tenders and controlled the flames by 11.30 pm.
Residents, including children, were safely rescued, though the building sustained considerable damage. Shekhar, an eyewitness, recounted how the fire started during Diwali celebrations and expressed relief that all were safe.
