Four fire engines, alongside other firefighting vehicles, promptly arrived at the scene and initiated efforts to control the blaze, a civic official stated, reaffirming the absence of injuries.

The proximity of the fire to the railway tracks led to a temporary suspension of local train services between Bandra and Mahim on the Harbour line, railway authorities disclosed. Safety precautions prompted the disconnection of electric supply to overhead equipment near the affected area.
