​Hungary's Prime ‌Minister Peter Magyar ​said on Friday ‌that the Paks nuclear plant could be completely ‌powered down on Tuesday ‌or Wednesday based on the latest predictions from ⁠water ​management ⁠authorities.

The nuclear plant is ⁠operating at less than ​50% of its 2 gigawatts ⁠and was previously ⁠expected ​to be completely shut down on ⁠Monday as water levels ⁠on ⁠the Danube river are forecast to drop ‌further.
