England Women's Team Braces for Swiss Heatwave in Euro Clash

England manager Sarina Wiegman expresses confidence that her players will be well-prepared for Switzerland's heatwave as they prepare to defend their Women's European Championship title against France this Saturday in Zurich.

Thanks to England's recent warm weather, Wiegman noted that the team was able to conduct early heat acclimatization exercises. "We have protocols and strategies in place that experienced players are familiar with," said Wiegman from the team's base camp on Wednesday.

England's heat protocols include ice vests, ice baths, ice slushies, and cryotherapy. UEFA is providing free sunscreen and eased water bottle regulations for fans, making hydration a priority in the face of the expected 33-degree Celsius temperatures.
