Chasing a modest total of 130, Bangladesh reached the target with 113 balls remaining, thanks to an unbeaten 54 from opener Rubya Haider. Sobhana Mostary also contributed significantly with 24 not out, culminating in a score of 131 for 3 in 31.1 overs.
Pakistan, opting to bat first, struggled against disciplined bowling from Bangladesh and were bowled out for 129 in 38.3 overs. Rameen Shamim was the standout performer with 23 runs, while significant contributions came from Fatima Sana. The star of Bangladesh's bowling attack was Shorna Akter, who claimed three wickets as Marufa Akter and Nahida Akter took two each.
