Daring Rescue: Paraglider Saved After Crashing in Indian Peaks

An Australian paraglider, identified as Andy, experienced a harrowing 20-hour ordeal after crashing near Seven Sisters Peak in Himachal Pradesh, India. The incident occurred on Monday evening at an elevation of 13,500 feet.

According to officials, Andy's crash was attributed to fluctuating air pressure and adverse weather conditions. Another paraglider pilot accompanying Andy witnessed the accident and immediately alerted the authorities, seeking urgent assistance.

A rescue team, coordinated by Ramesh Kumar Jogi of the Manali Adventure Tour Association, was swiftly dispatched. Andy was found stranded on a narrow ledge, requiring a helicopter for a successful rescue. As per the latest reports, the paraglider is currently receiving medical care and is in stable condition.
