Manu Bhaker, India's double Olympic medallist in shooting, is poised to reclaim her competitive spark as the new season unfolds. With her sights set on the upcoming Asian Games and World Championships, Bhaker aspires to recapture the edge she displayed during her 2024 Paris Olympics success.
Discussing her preparation, the 24-year-old remarked at a National Rifle Association of India event that she and her coach have meticulously planned their competition and training strategy, aiming for stellar performances later this year. Her recent achievements include a 10m air pistol World Cup silver and a 25m pistol silver at the Asian Championships.
Expressing enthusiasm for the return of shooting to the 2030 Commonwealth Games in India, Bhaker reflected on her breakthrough at the 2018 Games. She also touched on her spiritual growth and endorsed cricket prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, highlighting the importance of mentorship in nurturing talent.
