Max Verstappen, the champion driver from Red Bull, expressed optimism about his team's progress at the Miami Grand Prix. Speaking after qualifying fifth for the sprint race, Verstappen highlighted the team's efforts in closing the gap to their fierce rivals.
This season, the four-time world champion has faced challenges with Formula One's new regulations, leading to doubts about his future in the sport. However, after consistently placing no higher than sixth, he noted significant improvement, reducing their previous deficit by half, and seeing it as a positive advancement.
Despite falling 0.592 seconds behind McLaren's Lando Norris in qualifying, Verstappen remains hopeful. His teammate, Isack Hadjar, also put forth a commendable effort, ending up ninth in the standings. The team continues to work on further enhancements to strengthen their competitive edge.
