Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Interior Minister, will attend the forthcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting via virtual means, according to a Geo TV report. The meeting is set for later this month in Ahmedabad, following notifications for attendance sent to all board members.

The ICC plans a series of crucial discussions, including those at the Chief Executives Committee (CEC) and Board levels, focusing on the World Test Championship's (WTC) future. While the CEC meeting will occur online on May 21, the Board will convene in person on May 30-31, amid a backdrop of regional diplomatic tensions.

Doubts about Naqvi's participation arise from strained ties between the neighboring nations and their cricket administrations. The PCB chief passed the ICC invitation to Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, who will make the decision on attending. Originally set for March-April in Doha, these quarterly meetings were postponed due to regional conflicts.
