Sports streaming platform DAZN, supported by billionaire Len Blavatnik, has partnered with DirecTV Latin America to include DSPORTS channels in its service across five countries. This multi-year deal provides subscribers access to the World Cup and other sports, enhancing DAZN's Latin American reach.
Sports streaming giant DAZN, backed by British-American billionaire Len Blavatnik, has strategically expanded its offering by partnering with DirecTV Latin America. The agreement sees the integration of DirecTV's DSPORTS channels into DAZN's platform across five countries just as the 2026 FIFA World Cup commences.
Under this multi-year deal, subscribers in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay will now have access to all 104 World Cup matches live. The company confirmed the tie-up gives users exclusive access to significant soccer content, alongside basketball, tennis, cycling, and MMA.
Although rumors of a potential acquisition of DirecTV's Latin America division were circulating, the current agreement focuses on a commercial partnership, significantly boosting DAZN’s foothold in the region. The expansion is a testament to DAZN’s ambition to grow its global presence, diversifying its sports streaming capabilities.
