Ukraine Neutralizes 58 Out of 67 Russian Drones in Overnight Assault

Ukraine's air force successfully intercepted 58 out of 67 long-range drones launched by Russia in a mass overnight attack, officials confirmed on Saturday.
The air force issued a statement via the Telegram app, detailing that air defense units were activated in 11 regions across the country. Reuters correspondents in Kyiv reported hearing a series of explosions around 3 a.m. local time.
Since the onset of Russia's invasion in February 2022, Moscow has launched thousands of missiles and drones into Ukraine. The latest wave of Shahed drones originated from Russia's border regions and the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula.
