Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has earmarked robotics as the future major sector in South Korea, stressing its role as a manufacturing hub undergoing a digital transformation. Huang's visit, his second in seven months, highlights deepening collaborations in robotics and AI with local giants like Samsung and Hyundai.
Following his arrival at Gimpo International Airport from Taiwan, Huang emphasized the integration of AI and robotics in chip manufacturing. He stated, "Korea as a manufacturing centre offers us a tremendous opportunity to apply and invent advanced AI technologies alongside its semiconductor industry."
Besides business engagements, Huang indulged in local culture. He connected with e-sports luminaries and dined with major corporate leaders. His outreach extends to sports and media appearances, including a ceremonial pitch at a baseball game and a TV talk show, reinforcing Nvidia's cultural and technical commitment in Korea.
