French carmaker Citroen announced a deal to supply 2,000 e-C3 electric vehicles to urban mobility company CAB-EEZ Infra Tech Pvt Ltd. French automobile manufacturer Citroen revealed on Monday its commitment to delivering 2,000 units of its electric vehicle e-C3 to the urban e-mobility firm CAB-EEZ Infra Tech Pvt Ltd over the coming year.
The two firms have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), kicking off with the initial supply of 100 e-C3 units, as confirmed by Citroen India in an official statement.
This new agreement will augment the current fleet of 200 e-C3 units, bringing the total to over 300 vehicles operating in Mumbai and Pune.
'Cab-E has been among the early adopters of the e-C3, and their ongoing preference for our vehicle underscores Citroen's position as a formidable player in sustainable transportation solutions,' noted Shishir Mishra, Citroen India Brand Director.
Cab-E Director & CEO, Kuldip Ghosh, remarked, 'This partnership not only advantages our stakeholders but also propels Cab-E towards a leading position in the electric urban mobility sector.' The Citroen e-C3 boasts a 320-kilometer range per charge and can achieve almost full charge in under an hour, the company added.
