Bomb Threat Forces Emergency Landing of IndiGo Flight

An IndiGo flight originating from Chandigarh was compelled to execute an emergency landing at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after a bomb threat was received, police reported on Wednesday.
The threat call was made to the airport's hotline number on Tuesday at 14:32 pm, prompting the air traffic controllers to announce a full emergency for flight 6E-6382. Fortunately, the aircraft landed smoothly at 14:57 pm and was subsequently directed to an isolation bay as part of the standard security procedure.
Security officials conducted a comprehensive inspection of the plane; however, no suspicious objects or activities were detected, according to police authorities.
