The initial incident took place on May 1, involving a 13-year-old boy in Chhattisgarh's Durg. As he picked tamarinds along the railway tracks, he reportedly hurled a stone at the Puri-Indore Express, according to officials.

The subsequent case featured 18-year-old Anil Pal, who admitted to throwing stones in a playful manner at the Ahmedabad-Howrah Express. His actions, occurring as the train transited through Nagpur, caused damage to the train's window. Both young individuals face charges under section 153 of the Railway Act.
