Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced the plan, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047.
In a virtual address, Goyal emphasized the government's commitment to ease of living and doing business, highlighting recent collaborations with global partners. These include free trade agreements with countries like the UAE, UK, and Australia, intended to bolster international trade and investment.
Prime Minister Modi also announced the formation of a 'Task Force for Next-Generation Reforms.' This initiative will work to update laws and policies, aiming to support startups and entrepreneurs, and ensure India's compliance framework is equipped for the 21st century.
