Flipkart Minutes, the quick commerce division of Flipkart, has significantly expanded its services across India, extending its 10-minute delivery model to over 30 new cities in 2025, including major metros and tier 2 and 3 regions. This strategic expansion has fueled remarkable growth, with the platform achieving a 16X surge in order volume during the second half of the year.
The growth of Flipkart Minutes was majorly driven by Gen Z consumers alongside a committed student user base. The platform recorded strong loyalty with over 6 lakh customers placing repeat orders within a week. Essential categories like fruits and vegetables, which made up 45% of purchases, and high-value items such as premium electronics and mobiles catalyzed this robust performance.
Emphasizing sustainability, Flipkart Minutes introduced eco-friendly packaging and fulfilled more than 10 million orders via electric vehicles. Partnering with over 2000 farmers, the platform bolstered local economies while extending market access to several digital-first and regional brands, solidifying its position as a key player in India's quick commerce arena.
