Girls Steal the Spotlight in Bihar Board Class 12 Results
Girls outperformed boys in the Bihar board Class 12 exams, with higher success rates in all streams. This year's overall pass percentage was slightly lower than last year. The government plans to reward the top performers with cash and laptops.

In an impressive display, girls have outperformed boys in the Class 12 Bihar board exams, as announced on Tuesday. This year's results showed a slight dip in the overall pass percentage, which stood at 86.50, compared to the previous year's 87.21.
The female students excelled across all three main streams. In the Arts stream, 85.04% of girls were successful compared to 78.94% of boys. In Commerce, the success rate for girls was 97%, while boys trailed at 93.62%. Similarly, in the Science stream, girls achieved a pass rate of 91.29%, surpassing the boys' rate of 88.63%.
Education Minister Sunil Kumar announced the results from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) office. Notable attendees included Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department S Siddharth and BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore. Over 12.8 lakh students took the exams, with 10.97 lakh passing. The top students in each stream will be honored with awards, as announced by the state government.
