After their meeting, Agarwal revealed the state's commitment to hosting Vedanta University, as uncertainty loomed following a Supreme Court ruling supporting an Orissa High Court decision on land acquisition issues.

The proposed non-profit university aims to cater to Indian students and prioritize women scholars, amid legal hurdles and proposals from other states, reinforcing Odisha's stance as a potential educational hub.
