Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal announced that Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi assured him of backing for establishing a world-class university in Odisha.
After their meeting, Agarwal revealed the state's commitment to hosting Vedanta University, as uncertainty loomed following a Supreme Court ruling supporting an Orissa High Court decision on land acquisition issues.
