Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has issued a stern warning to European countries regarding the acceptance of long-range U.S. missile deployments. In a Saturday video, Peskov highlighted the potential risks involved.

Speaking to Russian state television reporter Pavel Zarubin, Peskov addressed concerns about possible U.S. hypersonic missile deployments in Europe. He remarked, 'We have enough potential to deter these missiles. But the capitals of these (European) states are potential victims.' Peskov drew parallels to the Cold War era when American missiles stationed in Europe targeted Russia, and vice versa, making European countries primary targets.

He further commented on Europe's current instability, declaring, 'Europe is now coming apart at the seams. This is not the best time for Europe. Therefore, in one way or another, history will repeat itself.'
