Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 22: A new book celebrating the top 100 IITians in India has been released by the IIT Alumni Association. This publication features notable personalities such as Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys, and Nandan Nilekani, alongside Indore's distinguished educationist and Chairman of IPS Group of Institutions, Architect Achal Chaudhary. The book launch was held in a grand ceremony in Bengaluru.

Titled '100 Great IITians: Dedicated to the Service of the Nation', the book was edited by Commander V.K. Jaitly, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, and published by Excel India Publishers. The event took place at the Bangalore International Centre, with Professor Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director of IIM Bangalore, as the chief guest.

The publication recounts the stories of those IITians who chose to remain in India or return to contribute to the nation's development, despite lucrative opportunities abroad. At the launch, the achievements and stories of these honored IITians were celebrated.

One of the prominent figures featured is Architect Achal Chaudhary from Indore, who graduated from IIT Kharagpur. He founded the IPS Academy in Indore in 1987, which has now evolved into the IPS Group of Institutions, serving over 10,000 students.
