Tragic Bus Accident Claims Lives of Indian Pilgrims in Nepal
A tragic bus accident in Nepal claimed the lives of 27 Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. An Indian Air Force flight transported 25 bodies back to Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Union Minister Raksha Nikhil Khadse and MLA Sanjay Savkare oversaw the return and met the injured in Kathmandu.

A special Indian Air Force plane carrying the bodies of 25 Indian pilgrims killed in a tragic bus accident in Nepal departed for Jalgaon, Maharashtra, on Saturday after completing all formalities.
The bodies of two other deceased would reach Maharajgunj in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday evening.
At least 25 pilgrims from Maharashtra and two from Uttar Pradesh, who were on a 10-day tour in Nepal, died, and 16 others were injured when their bus veered off the highway into the Marsyangdi river in Tanahun district on Friday.
Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse, along with MLA Sanjay Savkare, arrived in Kathmandu to oversee the return of victims and survivors.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
