Securing Serenity: Army's Strategic Surveillance in Bhaderwah's Tourist Hubs

With tourist spots reopening in Jammu and Kashmir, the Army has intensified security in Bhaderwah with high-altitude patrolling, especially after the Pahalgam terror attack. Troops, aided by drones and rocket launchers, aim to ensure safety and build confidence among residents and tourists, particularly with upcoming events.

In a bid to bolster security in Jammu and Kashmir's burgeoning tourist destinations, the Indian Army has ramped up its surveillance efforts, particularly in the picturesque Bhaderwah belt of Doda district.

Following the April 22 Pahalgam terror incident, the Army has undertaken high-altitude patrolling, deploying drones and rocket launchers to monitor and secure the region, which is set to host the Amarnath Yatra starting July 3.

The enhanced security measures are not just about safeguarding the area but also serve to instill confidence among the locals and the multitude of visitors drawn to Bhaderwah's scenic charm, often likened to a 'mini Kashmir'.
