In a meeting with Sri Lankan politician Namal Rajapaksa on Monday, Indian envoy Santosh Jha confirmed India's steadfast support for Sri Lanka's recovery from Cyclone Ditwah's devastation. The tropical storm has claimed nearly 630 lives, leaving the island nation's infrastructure severely ravaged.
Jha's interaction with Namal Rajapaksa, son of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, underscored India's commitment to ongoing relief efforts. This occurs amid Sri Lanka's struggle to manage the aftermath of unprecedented floods and landslides.
