On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assessed construction progress at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir during a strategic one-day visit.
Adityanath started his visit by performing rituals at Hanumangarhi Temple, where he prayed for the state's peace and prosperity. Moving to the Ram Mandir, he evaluated ongoing construction efforts. Officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust updated him on current developments and future plans for the site.
This visit precedes President Droupadi Murmu's scheduled visit, highlighting the visit's strategic significance. During the tour, Adityanath also interacted with local seers and temple authorities to understand their concerns. The chief minister was greeted by several dignitaries, including state Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, and Ram temple trust's general secretary, Champat Rai.
