Smooth Start for Uttarakhand and CBSE Board Exams

On Friday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conveyed sincere best wishes to all students taking the Uttarakhand Board examinations that commenced today. In a statement issued by the CMO, the Chief Minister expressed confidence in the students' success, emphasizing their commitment, hard work, and self-confidence.
The Chief Minister advised students to trust their abilities, stay stress-free, and approach exams with a relaxed mindset. Concurrently, the CBSE board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 began on February 15, marking a smooth start for the exam season.
According to CBSE's Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Class 10 English and Class 12 Entrepreneurship exams were conducted successfully across multiple centers on the first day. Over 23.86 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exam at 7,780 centers, while around 23,000 students took the Class 12 exam at 995 centers. With over 42 lakh students from more than 30,000 schools and 26 countries involved, CBSE ensured that all guidelines and security measures were in place to uphold the exam's integrity and provide a fair experience.
