The vibrant festival of Holi turned political in Delhi as BJP leaders celebrated their recent electoral victory. Bansuri Swaraj, a BJP MP, highlighted the occasion as a symbol of the party's resurgence in Delhi after a long 27-year hiatus, now forming a 'double-engine' government.

Meanwhile, Delhi's Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, prioritized social welfare during the celebrations, visiting the Asha Kiran Shelter Home to share the joy of Holi with its residents. Gupta also issued a public appeal, stressing the importance of water conservation and ensuring safety during the festival's festivities.

Adding to the political undertones, BJP's Manoj Tiwari addressed concerns raised by the AAP over the unfulfilled promise of free LPG cylinders. Tiwari assured the media that efforts are underway to implement the scheme within a month, amidst calls for both Holi and other cultural observances to remain distinct and respected.
