In a review meeting at Krishi Bhavan, Chouhan emphasized the importance of coordinating with the chief ministers of regions like Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab to secure critical supplies should evacuation become necessary.
Despite conflict concerns, India boasts strong foodgrain reserves, with the agriculture sector ready for the kharif season. Ministry officials plan to contribute through blood donations on May 14 as an expression of national service.
