In a significant move to improve child welfare, the Delhi government has joined hands with SOS Children's Villages India to assist 350 children without parental care.
This collaboration, initiated by signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Delhi Women and Child Development department and the NGO, will span five years. It aims to provide comprehensive support focusing on care, protection, education, health, and emotional well-being.
Under the arrangement, SOS India will extend its Kinship Care Programme across Delhi, providing training for caregivers and conducting progress assessments. The agreement highlights the shared commitment to foster a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
