SAEL Industries, a leader in renewable energy, has announced its plan to procure 20 lakh tonnes of paddy waste for electricity generation as the harvesting season approaches. The company aims to convert this agricultural by-product into clean energy.
Operating 11 waste-to-energy (WTE) plants across Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, SAEL Industries boasts a total energy capacity of 165 MW, including an ongoing project in Rajasthan. The initiative is part of a larger strategy to tackle the pervasive issue of stubble burning and enhance agricultural sustainability.
