Twin Blazes: Factories in Raipur and Delhi Battle Devastating Fires
A fire at a plastic factory in Raipur left the owner injured, while another blaze in a Delhi godown was swiftly contained. Firefighting teams worked tirelessly at both sites to ensure safety, evacuating personnel and ensuring no casualties. Investigations are underway to determine the causes.

A devastating fire erupted in a plastic factory in Saddu, Raipur, on Thursday, injuring the owner who attempted to control the flames. Firefighters, led by the Siltara Fire Brigade, swiftly responded to the incident. Despite the dangerous presence of exploding paint cans, efforts to manage the fire saw success.
Kamaljit Singh from the Siltara Fire Brigade detailed the challenges faced: "The blast from the paint cans has ceased. Our control measures have been effective, focusing now on cooling the area." Tehsildar Ramamurti Diwan confirmed that the building had been evacuated, and they neared complete containment of the blaze.
Earlier that day, another fire broke out in a godown in Delhi's Tri Nagar area. Officer Praveen Kumar relayed that five fire units were promptly deployed. The fire, which involved plastic and loudspeaker materials, was extinguished rapidly, ensuring no casualties occurred, while investigations continue at both sites.
