In a resolute assertion of the agricultural sector's importance, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin highlighted farmers as the primary contributors to national prosperity. Addressing an Intellectuals Meet in Ranchi, Nabin emphasized the critical link between farmers' well-being and the country's stability, reiterating the government's dedication to enhancing their welfare.
Nabin stated, 'The biggest contribution to the progress of this country comes from our farmers. Happiness among farmers equates to prosperity and harmony in households.' He revealed the government's clear plan for farmers, emphasizing consistent engagement through regular dialogues to address their issues and enhance income.
He acknowledged that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the Agriculture Department's renaming to the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare reflects a sustained focus on farmers' welfare. During his visit to Jharkhand, aimed at fortifying BJP's organizational groundwork, Nabin engaged with local leaders and party workers to bolster public outreach.
