The Ministry of Defence's Joint Operations Command in Abu Dhabi, UAE, recently announced the completion of its 53rd humanitarian airdrop in Gaza. This continues the nation's ongoing efforts to aid Palestinians under the 'Birds of Goodness' initiative.
Aiming at families in isolated regions, the latest airdrop delivered 80 tonnes of essential food and relief supplies. This latest delivery brings the total aid provided since the project's inception to 3,623 tonnes, emphasizing the scale and commitment of the UAE's humanitarian efforts.
By providing such essential aid, the UAE demonstrates a strong commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by civilians in war-torn Gaza, particularly addressing the needs of women and children. These efforts were launched almost immediately following the outbreak of conflict in the region.
