Trump hints that US may not interfere in Brexit negotiations

The United States will stay in its lane while Britain negotiates its exit from the European Union, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday ahead of his meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar at the White House.

Varadkar, speaking to reporters, said he looked forward to discussing Brexit with Trump. The U.S. president said he wants Brexit talks to work out and reiterated that he would like to see a U.S. trade deal with the United Kingdom.
