Putin says concerns about Russian business climate persist

President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that concerns about the Russian business climate persisted despite what he called some improvements.

Putin was speaking at an economic forum in St Petersburg.

The Kremlin has been under pressure to show it is taking action to improve the environment for business people due to an uproar among investors over the treatment of prominent U.S. businessman Michael Calvey who has been accused of embezzlement, a charge he denies.
