Minister Murlidhar Mohol responded, detailing measures like Personal Information Systems, social media monitoring, and motivational sessions to ensure professional conduct.
BJP member Kangana Ranaut has raised a pertinent question in the Lok Sabha, seeking clarity on the government's system to monitor CISF personnel at airports. Ranaut's inquiry follows an incident where she was allegedly slapped by a woman CISF constable at Chandigarh airport.
Responding to the query, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol outlined several measures in place to ensure professional conduct among airport security personnel. These include a web-based Personal Information System, regular behavior detection, and soft skill training, as well as social media monitoring at various levels.
The incident that triggered Ranaut's question involved CISF Constable Kulwinder Kaur, who was reportedly upset over Ranaut's stance on the farmers' protests. Kaur has been suspended, and an FIR has been lodged against her. The CISF has implemented multiple programs to maintain high standards of conduct among its officers.
