Dhananjay Munde's Aide Surrenders: A Political Vendetta Unfolds

In a significant development, Walmik Karad, closely associated with Maharashtra NCP minister Dhananjay Munde, has surrendered to the Pune police. Karad is wanted in an extortion case linked to the brutal murder of a local sarpanch in Beed district.
Following his surrender, Karad was swiftly transferred to a court in Kej, Beed district, where the late-night session saw the judge remanding him to police custody for 14 days, as argued by the Crime Investigation Department (CID).
In a video posted on social media prior to his surrender, Karad protested his innocence, alleging that he was being implicated due to political rivalry. The Inspector General of Police, Sarang Awad, confirmed that Karad would be handed over to the CID team in Beed, continuing their probe into the extortion and murder cases.
