A drone managed to create quite a stir during Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's visit to a Zilla Parishad school in Hiwali, Nashik district, on Friday. According to a police official, the drone was operated without the requisite permission, prompting security measures to ensure safety.

The unexpected sighting of the drone in the sky led officials to take prompt action to bring it down. During the process, two individuals—one flying the drone and the other a photo studio owner—were detained by police.

Authorities have stated that the incident appears to be an attempt to capture compelling images of the high-profile visit rather than anything suspicious. Nevertheless, to assure the public of security and thoroughness, an investigation covering all aspects is currently underway, affirmed a Nashik Rural police official.
