Illegal Immigration: Court Orders Deportation of Bangladeshi National
A court in Maharashtra ordered the deportation of Vimal Ranjeet Vishwas, a Bangladeshi national, for illegal entry into India. Vishwas, who worked in Bhayander, was arrested without valid citizenship documents. After serving 54 days in custody, he was fined Rs 1,000 and ordered to be deported.

A court in Thane district, Maharashtra, has mandated the deportation of Vimal Ranjeet Vishwas, a Bangladeshi citizen found guilty of entering and residing in India without legitimate documentation.
Additional Sessions Judge G T Pawar delivered a sentence of one year and 54 days, which Vishwas had already served, and levied a Rs 1,000 fine against him.
Post-imprisonment, the court ordered Vishwas's deportation to Bangladesh. He was apprehended in Bhayander for working without valid Indian citizenship, revealing he paid Rs 20,000 to enter India illegally. Judge Pawar outlined that, as per the Foreigners Act, the burden of proving legal status in India lies with the accused.
