Historic Recruitment Drive Boosts UP Police Force
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated the induction of over 60,000 new police recruits, including 12,048 women, following a fair and transparent selection process. The recruitment marks the largest in the state's history, showcasing the candidates' talent and dedication.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated 60,244 recruits who have joined the state police. In a social media post, he highlighted that among the newly appointed constables, 12,048 are women.
The recruitment process was described as fair and transparent, adhering strictly to reservation policies. The final selection list includes 12,937 candidates from the general category, 32,052 from other backward classes, 14,026 from scheduled castes, and 1,229 from scheduled tribes.
Adityanath praised the hard work and perseverance displayed by the candidates, attributing their success to their talents and support from family and mentors. He also recognized the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board in conducting the state's largest recruitment drive successfully.
