A massive explosion rocked an illegal LPG transfer unit in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, injuring two people, according to police reports. The unit was covertly operated from a shop by Ghanshyam Yadav in the Azad Nagar police area.
The blast occurred as LPG was being transferred from large cylinders to 18 smaller ones, resulting in injuries to an employee of Yadav and a relative, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vinod Kumar Meena stated. The injured parties have been hospitalized for treatment.
Legal action has been taken against Yadav, with charges filed under relevant statutes. Additionally, the Food Department has been prompted to take necessary action. The illegal operation, previously concealed as a utensil shop, has been a longstanding source of concern for local residents.
