Karnataka State Implements 'Operation Sindoor' Amid Rising Tensions

Karnataka's Home Minister, G Parameshwara, announced that the state has begun actions in line with Central advisories due to escalating tensions with Pakistan. Emphasizing a unified stance, he declared the Congress party's full support for 'Operation Sindoor', underscoring the importance of national security.
Parameshwara revealed that the state received guidance from the Ministry of Defence and Home Affairs to implement civil defense measures. Efforts are underway to secure key installations like power stations, irrigation dams, and industrial sites through these advisories.
The Minister assured comprehensive security measures are being enforced, with directives issued to all Superintendents of Police to remain vigilant. Mock drills are scheduled at various locations statewide to test and enhance preparedness and resource allocation.
