Meanwhile, in Peshawar, an overnight operation led to the demise of a suicide bomber and his handler, both poised for a major attack.

The Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies noted a rise in militant attacks, but the recent operations highlight the ongoing efforts to counter regional threats effectively. Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remain the focal areas of these security challenges.
