Netanyahu Criticizes UK's Stance on Palestinian State
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized UK's plans to recognize a Palestinian state. He accused UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer of supporting terrorism while cautioning that a jihadist state at Israel's border would pose a threat to Britain.
In a recent statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the UK government's intention to recognize a Palestinian state. According to Netanyahu, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is inadvertently supporting terrorism through this decision.
Netanyahu asserted that such recognition would reward 'Hamas monstrous terrorism' and consequently punish its victims. He argued that this move compromises Israel's security and could have severe repercussions.
The Israeli leader further warned that the establishment of a jihadist state along Israel's borders could pose a future threat not only to Israel but also to Britain. The comments reflect ongoing tension between Israel and sections of the international community regarding Palestinian statehood.
